Lori-Ann Preston is an award-winning children’s author who lives in East London. Lori-Ann holds a BEd Honours degree from the University of South Africa and spent 20 years as an educator. While teaching her class of Grade 2 students, Lori-Ann realised the need for more literature that children could relate to. She set about writing the fun-filled, adventurous, coming-of-age series: Thabo, the Space Dude and the hilarious, 3-in-1 short story book: Trixie 1 and Trixie 2. She has held over 125 free, educational literary workshops around the country, the purpose of which has been to motivate, encourage and inspire children to develop a love for reading. This makes her the perfect candidate to write a reading guide for her books.
