Claire Julsing Strydom, MSc Dietetics, is a registered dietitian, co-founder of Nutritional Solutions, one of the largest dietetics’ practices in South Africa, and is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics in the USA. She has been in clinical practice for more than 22 years and has a special interest in polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome (PMOS) (previously PCOS), obesity management, the use of GLP-1 therapies, and has served on obesity advisory boards as a key opinion leader. She is a past president of the Association for Dietetics in South Africa and has presented nutrition educational content to health professionals locally and internationally. She has also developed globally-used medical nutrition intervention programmes for PMOS patients, including a nutritional supplement for the condition.
Claire has developed and implemented interactive nutrition education initiatives for various schools including the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy. She is an expert within the corporate wellness space and regularly presents as a keynote speaker and health intervention strategist to local corporations and large multinationals, and consults to the food and pharmaceutical industries.
