Jo Hugo is a professional illustrator and designer. Her work has appeared in many guises, but this is her first published book. Born in Kenya, she developed a love of wildlife, travelling as far as the Himalayas for a snow leopard research project. She lives in Knysna on the Garden Route coast with an assortment of animal skulls.
